This was for a party last night, a friend did it for me and I got a slew of compliments. Fun night :)
There’s a fullness equation for food?
The result of said equation?
The Fullness Factor (FF) number!
FF values fall within the range of 0 to 5. Foods with high FF’s are more likely to satisfy your hunger with fewer Calories. Foods with low FF’s are less likely to satisfy your hunger.
So…
ALL MY CAT PEOPLE…ENJOY =)
Jackie, why don’t you listen to your doctor when he tells you the best form of exercise for you is low impact?!? Why Jackie? Cause you know if you did your ankle would not be in the pain it is in right now.
Ugh!!!! So our softball game tonight was not cancelled due to rain…thank god! But I was pitching and made two really fast dives to catch a line drive and a pop fly and my ankle is in some real pain right now, it’s elevated and I have a bag of peas on it. Hopefully by the morning it feels better. I love playing softball and it’s really hard to give it up. I won’t be playing next season though because one of my classes falls on the day my league plays. Maybe I need the break. Back to my bike rides. I need to find some new routes around Miami, I’m getting pretty bored of my current one :/
They’ve updated her forecast. Projecting a Category 3 over Orlando does not make me happy (Katrina was a 3 when she made landfall).
I’ve seen stronger storms. Charley, in the super-fun 2004 season where we got directly hit 4 times, was Category 4. I remember all too well what that was like.
So…now I get to run up to the store & try to figure out if there is any way to stock-up on food that won’t go bad when you have no power for 2 weeks & still eat sorta healthy. And buy a few gallons of water.
Keep your fingers crossed that Irene dissipates. :)
I’m happy about potential days off work, but unhappy about everything else. I’m RIGHT on the edge of the path. Heh heh heh.
I slept through Hurricane Andrew in 92, which was a catagory 5. I remember going outside with the fam during the eye and looking at all the damage. My dad for the second half of the hurricane had to barricade the front door cause the wind blew it off the hinges, and the upstairs bathroom had no roof whatsoever. Every once in a while we would peek in and look up. I remember me and my brother walked the entire complex after the storm to see all the damage. I of course with my luck, stepped on a nail, went right through my big toe. In and out. My parents weren’t about to rush me to the hospital so they did the best they could to patch it up. I still have a big toe so they did good.

I LOVE how all online stores are having these big summer clearances…don’t they know Miami only has one or two weeks of winter?!?
Can’t believe I almost made the cover of this book. I sure know how to make myself look stupid.
